I called for a appointment immediately due to severe tooth pain. STEPHANIE, was very attentive and was able to get me in immediately. The staff including the dentist was very professional and kind. Feeling anxious about a possible procedure caused delay in my treatment. The staff eased my fear and answered my questions. Everything was done quickly and scheduled as planned. Thank you very much. I found a family dentist my my sons and myself. Thanks again

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’m very impressed! Dr. Aleks treated my tooth, and he was extremely kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. Everything went so well that I booked my next appointment right away. From my experience, it’s really hard to find a great dentist, so I highly recommend Dr. Aleks and this office.

My hygienist has been taking care of all of my cleanings, and she is always amazing. She is gentle, thorough, and makes every visit a great experience. She always takes the time to explain how to properly care for my teeth and answers all of my questions with patience. I truly appreciate how professional, knowledgeable, and caring she is. I highly recommend my hygienist Tam to anyone looking for excellent dental care!

This review is long overdue… I have been seeing Dr. Alex Pissapia for over 5 years now. Since then I’ve brought my parents too to see them and we love him and his team! Dr. Alex is attentive, kind, patient and amazing at his craft. Precise, efficient and patient experience is as good as it can be! My mother had to have a few extractions done and didn’t feel anything at all and was so pleasantly surprised that it was already over before she noticed. My folks don’t speak English and the Dr. is never short of patience in explaining the treatment plans to him and waits for me to translate. Not to mention the staff is incredible! Pricing is transparent and always communicated up front. The gentleman office manager is always so pleasant, welcoming and on top of any following up. I just wanted to say a huge thank you at the Smilist and we are lucky to have you all in Hoboken.

Dr. Alex was attentive and thorough in his examination. I was given an answer to every question and he took the time to show me exactly what was going on and discuss the best options going forward. Additionally, the cleaning of my teeth is noticeable both visibly and physically. Everyone in the office is professional and welcoming, almost making you forget you’re at the dentist. The office itself is beautiful and clean. There’s a parking lot right across the street and it’s only a twenty minute walk from the terminal through scenic Hoboken. Overall, going to The Smilist has made “going to the dentist” an enjoyable experience. I strongly recommend it and personally look forward to getting “the work done,” especially considering the level of care and professionalism.
